Pet Shop in Kyoto

There have been news over the years of how Japanese pamper their pooches and kitties; and even some prefer to have pets.

I recalled watching on TV, a Dog Spa where the Spa Machine looks a bit like a washing machine with front load but could accommodate a small dog with its human.

The level of pampering is quite evident from a huge pet store at Odaiba, Tokyo and looking at the price of owning a pet may explain a bit why Japanese pamper them.

The price of a puppy/kitty is considerably high even for Japanese; but, it struck me that it is another method of deterring and unless you are Ready to have A Pet and Taking Good Care of It as you Need to Spend A Lot.

Found this pet shop by accident and I was mesmerised with the ‘Dish and Cakes’ that are for our fur babies.

Some are modelled as popular Japanese bread, like, Melon Pan; and you also find macaron, pumpkin pudding, etc..

Found the bag that I been aiming at for Michi, my fur baby, and it came in pink colour so luckily it fit for a girl. Saw a dog stroller and it was such a good quality and not those that I saw locally which was nothing like this one.

After looking at the merchandise and the cakes, I chanced to see how the staff attended to the prospective customers. The customers sat on the chair while holding the pooches or kitties while having conversation and explanation. Japanese is known for not being a Pushy Seller and this was one of the example too.

By kneeling down and patiently having conversation, it put you on ease to feel how having a pet may be like.

Please bear in mind that all those Food on display are for Fur Babies!!

You can almost mistakenly order one for you!
